First of all, happy new month and welcome to September!
By September 5, it will be 5 years of running HoneyDrops Blog. I think of the ways that I have grown. The plans that I had that didn’t live up to getting fulfilled. The days of struggling to be consistent and the times when I showed up despite what was happening to me. Today, I want to clap for myself and say, “Hey Girl, you did it!”
The blog may not be where I want it to be, but I have stepped out of my comfort zone more than once. I am still introverted, and it is a struggle to occasionally come out of my shell.
But in retrospect, I have been doing this for 5 good years, and it has opened doors for me and other people who have been connected to the blog.
I had plans for what I wanted to do once the blog turned five, but I got into my head and shut them down. Turning 5, however, has made me see more reasons why I shouldn’t hold myself back. Nobody is stopping me. If I can run a blog for 5 years with sweat, money, time, and investments, then I can do whatever I set out to do.
SO CAN YOU.
I am happy I did not let the hardship of it scare me off. I know now that I can do better, and if I can have a do-over, I will do better. So as I said, Showing up is hard, but it is easier than staying put.
What are you scared of doing? Get to it now. If you feel like you never have anybody in your corner cheering you on, I am here for you. Anytime, any day.
As I love to say, a drop of honey for your day!
P.S. I shared my experience with the 100 Days of Blogging Challenge in a YouTube Video. You can watch it here.
